Flashback Tuesday

Here are some old pics we just took off Miguel's phone.  These days it is logistically hard to go anywhere due to our numbers and ages, but its good to see these pictures and remember that it is worth it!  Making memories together is one thing that keeps  me going.

Denver Zoo, 2010:

One of my fave walks got too long so we had to trek through a farmer's field to get back to the car (notice Maia's hands in the second picture):

In the ER when Isa broke her leg (not a happy memory, but it sure makes me appreciate these sweet healthy kids):

We half-heartedly joked that we were having a broken leg date.  We were both miserable, as I was pregnant at the time and feeling sick as a dog.

Our trip to upstate NY:

We did some LDS church history sites, and the leaves in New York were just gorgeous. (I was still feeling VERY queasy all the time)

The Sacred Grove.

Niagara Falls.  I was very surprised and impressed.

The town Niagara-on-the Lake was so beautiful.

Loved the vacation spots on the St. Lawrence River.  We want to take the kids there some day:

We went to see a Ballroom dance team with my nieces and nephews.  It was really good.

A visit to a local farm:

Miguel's work party, always fun.

Visiting friends in CO:

The ward I grew up in had a reunion.  It was so nice to see many people I hadn't seen for years.  They had lots of fun activities and treats.  Of course, Grandma is always a treat.

Summer parades:

We all ran a 5k and my brother-in-law Juan ran it with us in spite of the altitude.

Last year's party:

The County fair:

Amusement park time with Grandma and Grandpa:

Fishing with Grampie:

Emerson was born and immediately started attending Kaedon's baseball games:
