Mother's Day Haul

Some highlights of Mother's Day:

1)  All the men and boys in our ward (congregation) singing "I Am a Child of God" for the mothers.  Very touching.
2)  My haul (as you'll see)-- the kids were so loving, attentive, and cute.
3)  A beautiful walk together-- we saw many pairs of Canadian Geese +fuzzy babies following in a line and ducks +ducklings too.  I wore my bird nest necklace that my friend gave me and the bracelet that Miguel's mom Charlene gave me years ago.  I thought a lot about how I appreciate my own mother more and more with each passing year, the example of Miguel's mom, and the inspiring examples of motherhood in all my smart, kind friends.
4) Kind card + gift card from Miguel.

Kaedon made this bracelet out of paper clips and rubber bands and I got to wear it to church.

K drew me this reef scene with mother/baby fish.

Isa made me a scrapbook from pictures she must have gotten off my blog then pasted in a Word doc.  Her captions were so cute.

Bird nest necklace my friend made for me when Emerson was born and home made lip gloss from Isa.

Maia gave me a whole book of her drawings, this one with sidewalk chalk.

These coupons are the best thing a mom could ask for. :)

Darling, darling gifts. I'm glad you had a good day. When are you going to use your coupon for a whole house cleaning?
